Never Too Late To Write

On creating a writing life in the second act

Are you embarking on your second act? Maybe it’s your third or your fourth? Regardless of the number, you are a “second acter”.

“Acter”? No, that isn’t a typo. “Actor”, in our culture, is too suggestive of someone who plays at being someone other than themselves. That doesn’t fit here.

A second act is not temporary insanity. It’s not a “midlife crisis”. It’s not silly and it’s not destructive.

Rather, it’s the chance we’ve been waiting for after doing what needed to be done in our previous act(s). We’ve decided not to delay any longer; we are now taking our chance to be who we want to be, and do what we dream of doing.

It’s a time to reward ourselves for a job well done and a life well lived.

What you’ll find on this page are people like you. People who have embarked on their second act and are finding a new success; one of their own design made up of their own dreams and goals.
